Founded in 1903, Annesdale Park comprises some of the most distinctive historic homes in Midtown Memphis, Tennessee. This National Historic District is conveniently located near the Methodist University Hospital, University of Tennessee Health Sciences campus and Central High School. Less than three miles away are Downtown Memphis and the Mississippi River.

Annesdale Park 110th Anniversary & Watermelon Festival 10/13/13
Please help us celebrate our very own amazing part of midtown, Annesdale Park. Celebrations will take place on Vinton Ave between Bellevue and Cleveland. Activities include : A Parade with marching band, free watermelon, Guest speakers, and music from 3artists1yard.
At 2:30 there will be a parade lead by the Central High marching band, followed by Guest speakers: Congressman Steve Cohen, and Mayor Wharton. 3artists1yard will take the stage following the speakers around 3:30
and play until 5:30.
The Central High School Band will lead parade East down Vinton Ave, and turn around at Cleveland and head back west to Bellevue, where the parade will end. All participants need to be at the staging area by 2:20pm. The Staging Area will be at the west end of Vinton, at Bellevue.
For the safety of all, the street will be closed to traffic.Everyone is encouraged to participate, and dress festively. Bikes, scooters and wagons are also permitted.
